"Partners" was the second episode of season 3 of Mythic Quest. It aired on November 11, 2022 alongside the first episode of the season, "Across the Universe".
Synopsis[]
Ian feels adrift in his new partnership with Poppy. David and Jo are suspicious of an employee's return. Dana and Rachel meet the new testers.
Plot[]
Ian and Poppy's relationship is fractious as Ian dreams big while Poppy builds their new game. Ian begins to feel adrift from the whole creation process and wants to be a good partner to Poppy, but his efforts are not quite what Poppy needs.
At Mythic Quest Studios, David watches Brad work, convinced that he is up to something nefarious. Carol tries to make him see reason, but David tasks Jo with finding out what Brad is planning.
Dana arrives for work at GrimPop Studios but is told that there is nothing for her to do right away. Poppy and Ian disagree about Ian's importance to the company but agree to work on their working relationship.
Rachel tries to comfort Dana by sneaking into Mythic Quest Studios and having sex on the couch in their old testing booth. However, they meet the new testers and inadvertently make them uncomfortable with their comments.
Carol calls a meeting to lay out that harassing the testers is not okay, and that there are people in the office that really shouldn't be. While David apologises to Brad, Brad makes veiled remarks that even if he was doing something nefarious, David wouldn't have the wits to see it. At GrimPop, Ian and Dana start to bond over VR and the Metaverse while Poppy sleeps off a sugar coma.
