"Grouchy Goat" was the second episode of season 2 of Mythic Quest.
Synopsis[]
Mythic Quest Studios starts earnest pre-production on two games -- a brand new mobile game called Grouchy Goat and the new expansion to Mythic Quest. But will the relationships between Rachel and Dana -- and Poppy and Ian -- survive?
Plot[]
Brad wants to build a mobile game platform so he can push micro-transactions on unsuspecting users. He tasks Dana and Rachel with the job of creating a prototype, leaving an unwilling Jo in charge of them.
Meanwhile, Ian and Poppy get to work on the new expansion. Ian decides to use an unsuspecting art department as a way to teach Poppy how to inspire people. They, led by Phil are less than impressed at being torn in two different directions by the new co-creative leads at Mythic Quest Studios. Things get even worse for Phil's team when they're given yet a third task to perform when Jo asks them to "whip up" some art for Grouchy Goat.
David asks Poppy to speak at the Women in Gaming Conference. She's highly reluctant for several reasons — at least superficially — but she finds a way to play both David and Ian to get what she wants. In the end, Ian is forced to recognize that she is "a boss", even if her methods were different to his.
